If you are looking for a nice chilled spot to take a guest around Downtown Dubai for a drink, consider doing the ladies night offer at Karma Kafe. I remember doing their brunch almost 8 years ago – and it was such good food and so much fun. Returned early November to take a guest who was here on a work visit.
Here is what to expect at Karma Kafe’s Ladies Night.
When is Karma Kafe’s Ladies Nights Offer?
Every Tuesday, between 6-11pm.
Please check Karma Kafe’s website for current details.
Where exactly is Karma Kafe?
If you parked in Dubai Mall – cross over the bridge towards to Souk al Bahar. Take the first set of escalators up and Karma Kafe is basically the first restaurant you see right in front once you get up to the first floor.
Does that it mean awesome fountain views then?
Yeah, pretty good views from their outdoor terrace. Though bear in mind that it’s best viewed from one section of the terrace which is not very wide, so if you want the ‘best view’, make sure to book in advance.
We sat indoors when we went, and popped out when the fountains came on.
What do you get in the ladies night offer?
3 courses from a Ladies Night Menu, including 3 drinks for 175 AED.
We ended up sharing the food – as you do, asian-style. We started with the crispy shrimp tempura maki sushi, and the japanese tuna pizza. I definitely have to recreate the pizza at home – yellowfin tuna sashimi with tomato, truffle oil (yumm…), wasabi aioli on grilled tortilla. So good.
For mains – we shared the szechuan beef tenderloin and seafood yaki udon. Whilst we loved both dishes, do bear in mind that it is on the smaller side portion-wise. I had in mind the amount of food we had in Koyo’s ladies night ….. then again I did remember that was considerably pricier than Karma Kafe’s.
Few cocktails in and lots to chit chat after, we finished the night with a delicious chocolate fondant with home-made vanilla ice cream and yuzu cheesecake with lime sorbet. Both, highly recommended.
See Karma Kafe’s Ladies Night menu here.
Definitely a well-priced offer to do on a Tuesday night – especially if you have guests in town who would like to escape from the Dubai Mall madness and have a quiet drink by the fountains.
If you don’t want to do ladies night – they also have happy hour drinks between 5-8pm, plus their mains are in the Entertainer. Spoilt for choices 😉
