We were invited to an exclusive unveiling of a limited edition collaboration between Trotters London, and Peppa Pig at Bounty Beets, in Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, on the 28th of February 2024. As a big fan of the venue itself and having been well-acquainted with hours of Peppa Pig on Youtube, I was curious to see what the collection would look like.
Here’s how the event went, and what to expect from the collection.
The Media Event, in Dubai
We were very much blessed with lovely weather, and what I thought was very low temperatures for late February in Dubai. The outdoor tables at Bounty Beets were beautifully decked out with vases of flowers from Florette, and right in the middle was the Trotters x Peppa Pig Collection, for us to have a peek at.
Maryanne Peacock introduced us to the founder of Trotters London – Sophie Mirman.
She spoke about how Trotters came about, and the journey leading to this lovely collaboration with Peppa Pig. She herself was elegantly dressed in the colours of the brand – apple green, and white. It was fascinating to listen to her speak in front of a group of media and influencers. We learned how they filled a gap in the market back in 1990 – to create a retail store that filled the needs of both parents and children.
As we indulged in a lovely breakfast at Bounty Beets, we had the opportunity to later on browse through the collection on display. Beautiful floral dresses for girls with high quality fabric, as well as jumpers with Peppa Pig on it. For the boys, light pink and blue shirts, as well as caps, amongst other items.
A bit of a background to the Collaboration

20 years ago, the same year PEPPA PIG was introduced to the world, Trotters and Liberty began their relationship, using Liberty Fabrics to create their seasonal dress collections.
These collections have since blossomed and evolved to encompass seasonal narratives featuring baby ensembles, exquisite girls’ dresses, striking swimwear, and, most recently, boys’ shirts.
In January 2022, Trotters London opened a concession within the Liberty store on Regent St. This has become a well-known destination for Trotters with customers from all over the world visiting when in London. In a groundbreaking move, Hasbro commissioned the exclusive design and development of a brand-new Liberty Fabric designed exclusively for Trotters.
