Lazy Weekend Breakfast @ The Cavendish Dubai : Bubbly, included!

If you woke up late in the weekend, and you want to have some bacon and eggs – don’t fret, The Cavendish at Voco Bonnington is serving their breakfast buffet until 3pm in the weekends! We took the kids to The Cavendish one Sunday morning in September, to review their lazy weekend breakfast offer.

Here’s what to expect at the Lazy Weekend Breakfast at The Cavendish.

The location

Haven’t been to The Cavendish? Well, you might be more acquainted with McGettigans in JLT? Did you know that McGettigans is actually located at Voco Bonnington Hotel in JLT? And their all-day dining restaurant is called…..drumroll, The Cavendish! 🙂

Don’t worry – they do offer complimentary valet if you are dining in The Cavendish.

The restaurant

As you the enter the lobby, turn left and head down the stairs. The Cavendish take has floor to ceiling glass facade, giving it a bright, airy space – which is nice for breakfast. You get a lot of natural light, but you are sat indoors and it’s air-conditioned. Best of both worlds, hey?

The spread

Breakfast spread at The Cavendish is I’ll say – relatively small in comparison with the big 5-star hotels that you may be used to. It does however, have all the basics that you will look for. The full english breakfast spread, some indian favourites, pancakes and waffles live station, eggs station, and a pastry section.

They also have the cold section with yoghurt, muesli, fruits, and self-service juice. Don’t worry, coffee and tea is included – just call the staff and they’ll bring your hot latte to the table!

Do they serve pork?

That’s one highlight of their breakfast spread as we all know not many places serve pork! Pork sausages, pork bacon, and even black and white pudding. Not that I’m a fan of that but I’m sure a lot of you are? Yes? No? 🙂

Did you say bubbly is included?

If you feel like mimosa – you can upgrade to two-hours of unlimited mimosa for 99aed. Not too bad, right?

Overall Thoughts

Lazy weekend breakfast at The Cavendish is a cosy, comfortable spot to take the kids to if you can’t be bothered cooking.

With the Entertainer, it is extremely well-priced, at 125 AED for two adults. Bonus, kids under 6 eat free! Definitely one to do when you are having a lazy weekend. They start at 7am, and end at 3pm – so take our pick on when to go 😉
