Villamore Kempinski Palm Jumeirah : A Family Friendly Beachside Venue

Have you been to Kempinski Palm Jumeirah Dubai with the family? Such a delicate, pristine property, isn’t it? Beluga, its beachside restaurant has been revamped and reopened mid 2022, as Villamore. We went over early January to review the venue with the little people.

Here’s what to expect at Villamore Kempinski Palm Jumeirah.

Where is Villamore?

Villamore is situated right next to Kempinski’s main pool, by the beach.

Yes, you do get complimentary valet at Kempinski.

Is Villamore family-friendly?

Very much so.

There are comfy corner sofas in the outdoor terrace which was perfect for our family (make sure you call to book!). We all know it’s so much easier to put the little people on sofas.

The kids ran straight out to play – the 2 year old collecting rocks and sticks. There are swings and hammocks on the sand. The best bit for us was – the place was fairly quiet when we were there, late Sunday afternoon mid January.

They do have indoor seating as well if that’s what you prefer – and possibly where everyone will head to during the hot summer months.

What is Villamore’s food like?

Villamore has a menu for in-restaurant dining and another for pool and beachside dining.

From the cold starter, you’ll find salmon carpaccio, beef tartare, burrata to an array of salads. Hot starters include tuna tataki, grilled octopus as well as vegetarian options like black truffle porcini croquetas.

Pasta ranges from 85 to 120 AED, and from the main courses you can go easy with chicken souvlaki (95 AED), or go straight to the big one – grilled seafood platter for 650 AED. I’m sure that feeds the family and more. Maybe your mum and dad. Your brother… sister.

Does Villamore have a kid’s menu?

Yes they do – you get a main course and a side for 50 AED.

Home made fish fingers and chicken nuggets, beef burgers or grilled chicken breast. There’s of course spaghetti bolognese and penne with mushroom and cream. I am happy to report that they do really good food as our kids actually ATE it. Every parent’s dream.

If you have little littles, you can just order one ‘set’ for 2 kids. Spaghetti + french fries, and let them share.

Are there offers in Villamore?

Go during sunset – around 4-7pm, and you get discounted drinks. Perfect time for mummy and daddy to have a drink while the kids play, and have an early dinner before the sun sets! Have a look at their Golden Hour menu here.

Pop in on Tuesdays or Fridays with the girls – you pay 150 AED for pool and beach access and you get 5 (yes, 5!) drinks and 50% off their pool and beach menu. Such an awesome offer. More on Aphrodite’s Ladies Day offer here.

Did I also mention that kids under 12 can join their parents for free at the pool and beach?

Overall thoughts

Love what they have done with Villamore.

Its much more modern, with the white wooden exterior frame and light wooden flooring. It was still quiet when we went – so make the most of it now before it becomes busy busy! We had a really comfortable afternoon having food on the terrace, while the kids ran around and played. Perfect for the winter months, and then you can head indoors during the summer months.
