If you’ve been here long enough – you would, at some point – have been to Buddha-Bar in Grosvenor House Dubai. Did you know that it officially opened its doors in 2005? That’s 21 years. For some cities, this may not be long, but for Dubai – it’s definitely a very impressive run. Over the last few months, this popular Dubai Marina bar has been closed – and a lot of people have been wondering, when will it reopen?
Good news – we’ve got a little update.
A New Chapter : Red Tsuki
Buddha-Bar Dubai officially reopen its doors on Tuesday, 22nd of September 2026.
With the reopening, comes the launch of a new theme, presented under its signature immersive dining experience known as Sakura’s Secret. Introducing : Red Tsuki (aka-tsuki) – a world of mystery, transformation and renewal – built around a single, unifying symbol: the red moon.
What to Expect
Expect live performers, curated visuals, with lighting, costume and choreography all done to bring the season’s theme to life. The new season also brings a focus on Buddha-Bar’s celebrated Pan-Asian menu, featuring Japanese, Chinese, Korean and South-east Asian influences. Don’t worry – they have kept a lot of their signature dishes, including the venue’s famous lobster dumplings, fresh sushi and sashimi, handmade dim sum, and signature flavours.
For those thinking of bringing the family for this experience – note that Buddha-Bar welcomes 12 year olds and above in the Dining Area between 7pm to 9pm only. From 9pm onwards, the minimum age is 16 years old. The Bar & Lounges are exclusively for guests 21 years old and above. Our suggestion? Save it for a date night or a get-together with friends 😉
