And all of a sudden, our Spring Break has been moved a week earlier – starting from Saturday 7th March, until Sunday 22nd March, coinciding with Ramadan and ending with Eid Al Fitr. With the Ministry of Education announcing that nurseries are to remain closed during this time, and limited flights going out of Dubai, parents (ourselves, included) must be wondering – what we are we going to do with the kids over this two weeks break? Yes – it is crazy what’s going on in the region right now – but look, we’re still here, and we’re all safe – so let’s just make the most of what we can do in the UAE.
If you feel comfortable enough to go out – here’s a little list of family events and offers that are on over the Spring Break. Stay safe.

Take the kids to a Family-friendly Iftar
As it is still Ramadan for most of the Spring Break – it’s a good time to take the little ones to a family-friendly Iftar here in Dubai. A lot of venues have indoor options if you are more comfortable there with the family. There are of course outdoor options, and some, are next to the hotel’s playgrounds, or set up by the beach as well. For a list of venues – to include all relevant offers, see : Best Family-friendly Iftars in Dubai – Ramadan 2026.

Family Pool & Beach Day with the Little Ones
The weather is still perfect for a pool and beach day in Dubai, isn’t it? If you’re comfortable taking the kids for a splash, and to build some sandcastles – there’s lots of family-friendly pools and beaches at various hotels and golf clubs around Dubai. A lot of venues have temporarily reduced their day pass rates, making it a lot more affordable for UAE Residents. See : Dubai Pool & Beach Day Passes 2026 – The Ultimate List for all the rates, so you can plan ahead and do something a little fun altogether as a family.
Featured : Banyan Tree in Bluewaters with a shallow family pool, and beautiful beach with rolling waves. Big thanks to Aquaventure for this generous gesture.

Breakfast with the Kids
Tired of prepping breakfast at home? Head over to a buffet breakfast in a Dubai hotel. For most, kids under 6 eat free and there are lots of offers for adults, so it does become quite pocket-friendly. It will be a nice ‘change of scenery’ for the family.
