Discover Nuage: Dubai Marina’s New Poolside Bar

Looking for a new poolside bar to try in Dubai Marina? Nuage in Ciel Dubai Marina is now open for outside guests. We went over mid January to have a look over a bite and drink at sunset.

Here’s a sneak peek into Nuage in Ciel Dubai Marina.

Where exactly is Nuage?

Nuage is located on the 11th floor of the newly opened Ciel Dubai Marina. It’s Ciel’s poolside bar – and of course, boasts stunning views of the infinity pool itself and of Dubai Harbour and JBR beyond.

Can you get a day pass to use the pool?

Don’t get too excited! Unfortunately, the pool on the 11th floor is not open for outside guests. You can still enjoy the view from your tables though – as we did, when we were there 🙂

Are kids allowed at Nuage?

Officially yes – Nuage is family-friendly and does allow kids of all ages to dine there with accompanying parents. However – we would personally suggest to save it for an afternoon or evening with the adults 😉

To highlight – there are no barriers per se between the dining area and the infinity pool so if you have toddlers – you will have to keep a proper eye out on them!

Let’s talk more about the views. Where does it look out to?

Depending on which outdoor tables you choose – there are seatings overlooking the family pool which faces northbound of Al Sufouh. It looks back onto Dubai Harbour, the resorts along the edge of Dubai Marina and beyond.

If you pick the tables on the other side by the adult pool – it looks back onto JBR & beyond. That’s also where the sun will set.

Are there any indoor seating?

Don’t worry – there are indoor seatings as well if you prefer that – and especially over the summer months. Its got prime views of the waterways from Dubai Marina where it flows out pass Dubai Harbour into the Arabian Sea. It’s a beautiful spot to be – as you can watch all the boats pass by.

Does Nuage show sports as well?

Yes – they do! Nuage has a large screen showing sports – so definitely check their socials to see what’s on.

Let’s talk about the menu.

Nuage offers Mediterranean-Greek options with what I’ll say, a pretty well-thought-out and healthy option for a poolside bar. The lobster avocado salad was delicious – with a generous amount of poached lobster, tossed with avocado, semi-dried tomatoes, baby gem and endives.

The wagyu donut was an interesting dish – and so very filling, with pulled wagyu beef stuffed within donuts, served with coleslaw. It’s like a cheeky way to get your kids to have more protein. If I did bring them here next time I’ll definitely order this dish 🙂

We also shared the crab toastie – which came on sliced avocado ( note the healthy trend here ), yuzu aioli on butter brioche.

If you want something from the usual ‘poolside grub’ – don’t worry. They do serve all that too. Wagyu or Crispy Chicken Cheeseburgers, Vegetarian or BBQ Chicken Flatbreads – they’ve got all that too.

Poolside Bar for Sundowners & Sports

Head on over to Nuage one afternoon for a bite and drink. They do have happy hour offers between 4pm to 7pm where drinks start from 35 AED – so make the most of that! Got a sweet tooth? We 100% recommend their pecan tart. Oh, and their kunafa magnum bar. Will we see you at Nuage, soon?

Disclosure : We were guests of Ciel Dubai to review Nuage.
