Looking for fun outdoor activites to take the kids to, this Winter Break? Bluewaters, by Dubai Retail, will be lighting up this festive season with its “Find Your Festive Glow” seasonal showcase. Expect immersive experiences across the island throughout the Winter Break – from Saturday 6th December 2025 to Wednesday 7th January 2026, as well as its annual Drone Show, which will be happening daily from Friday 5th December to Sunday 11th January 2026.

Event Details

Bluewaters will transform into a vibrant winter spectacle, featuring futuristic decorations, glowing light installations, and interactive activities for all ages. Families can look forward to activities throughout the week, including a unique glow-in-the-dark outdoor cinema, glow jugglers, festive stilt walkers, and living statues. Keep an eye out for a lineup of workshops such as neon ornament painting, tie-dye sessions, and glow-in-the-dark art experiences.

Adding to the festive excitement is the much-anticipated Dubai Drone Show, lighting up the skies above Bluewaters with free nightly displays, creating a spectacular show for all ages.

As the activations in Bluewaters mostly happen on the weekends – why not make it a whole day affair, and do a brunch in the area, before taking the kids over? Address Beach Resort’s Brunch in Neverland is going festive-mode in December as the hotel gets properly decked out for the season.
