Are you looking for somewhere for breakfast in Dubai Mall – with the kids? Maybe you’ve got the parents or some friends visiting, and you’re not sure which restaurant to go to. Well well, have you been to Amaya?
Here’s 4 Reasons why you should consider breakfast at Amaya with the family.
1. Family-friendly Indoor & Outdoor Seating
Amaya has lots of comfortable, family-friendly seating in their dining space. Indoors – you’ll find booths, which we know kids love as they can all cosy up together. Outdoors – a combination of long and single couches which again, works well with groups.
They do serve shisha – therefore have split each areas into smoking and non-smoking, which is a big plus. There’s also large cantilever umbrellas which you can adjust if you don’t want too much sun.
Note : The outdoor dining area has no physical separation between the smoking and non-smoking areas so you might get a slight whiff of shisha smoke if you choose the tables right adjacent to the smoking area. Don’t worry – their terrace is fairly large so you can always choose the tables further away.

2. Burj Khalifa & Fountain Views
Amaya has an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa from their outdoor terrace. If you have kids who get all excited about seeing that ‘tallest building in the world‘ – pick a spot outdoors! They can people watch, plus if you’re having a late breakfast you just might be able to catch the fountains when its on in the early afternoon.
3. Large Breakfast Menu – available till late
If you have picky kids, or bringing visiting family and friends who likes a bit of variety when it comes to breakfast – this is a good spot for it.
Their breakfast menu is extensive – ranging from an amazing Turkish Breakfast Sharing Platter which I highly recommend you order, to all the egg dishes, croissant and toast combinations and alas, sweets.
We absolutely love their Sharing Platter. Simple things like using your bare hands to eat simit with kaymak (clotted cream) and honey, and dipping their balon lavas (balloon bread) into the delicious, savoury menemen.

For eggs, they’ve got it all. We’re talking spanish omelettes, eggs pastrami, shakshuka to the usuals like eggs benedicts. Or if you prefer eggs on toast, head over to the ‘toast’ section in the menu and choose just that.

Prefer sweets? There’s good ol’ pancakes and french toast with berries, to very interesting dishes like Amaya’s own Nutella croissant, or even a Tahina roll.

4. Quick Access to the Bathrooms
Might sound a little odd to add this to the list – but when you’re out with kids, this is a major factor, isn’t it? Amaya doesn’t have a bathroom within the restaurant but it’s situated very close to Dubai Mall’s bathrooms. Just check in with the team and they’ll guide you!
