#41 A Day at The Beach – Part 1

We spend a lot of time at The Beach.

Breakfast in the weekends, schoolnight cycling sessions, random dinners when we can’t be bothered cooking, it’s just so beautiful there. I probably write too much about it here as well, please bear with me .

So ……when I received an invitation, to spend ‘A Day at The Beach’,  I said yes 🙂

We only got to find out what the day will be like, when we got there. Here’s a brief run-through of the places we went, my recommendations and tips on how you can check it out without paying full price.

I told Ruba, the owner of Fruiteiro that I honestly never took notice of the store. I had always gone to Menchie’s next door after my bodyboarding sessions. If only I had known!

I tried the Power Mix that morning – Acerola, Ananas and Ginger. Delicious, refreshing. Recommend you pick one up on the way down to the sand 😉 PS – It’s on the same row as Reel Cinemas.

Deal tips : There are 2 for 1s in the Entertainer Dubai, two for Vitamina Grandes and one for the Two Flavour Sorbetti Stick. Yay 😀

Here’s a shot of the very fashionable Bettina from Heels in Dubai Sand 🙂

Tuk tuk on The Beach

After a session under the sun at the Outdoor Gym, we tuk tuk-ed our way back to Leopold’s of London. Now G and I have been here for dinner a couple of times now, so this would be the first time for me trying out what they have to offer for breakfast.

I was starving, and we were all being polite to wait before we could eat what was in front of us, so this wouldn’t be a fair take on brekky. I would come back and have a proper breakfast there next time though, and guess what –

Use LILONE15 for 15% off your total bill at Organic Foods & Cafe!

Deal tips : You can use the Entertainer 2 for 1 for the breakfast menu! Not bad ay 😉 This is what I’ve just been told through the phone – please do check with them again when you’re there though! Click here for breakfast menu.

We then watched as one of the staff gave us an introductory session on coffee makin’.

And here’s how a blogger’s event looks like, phones and cameras all out. Lol.

Dubai resident. Stays most of the time in the marina as she can't be bothered going anywhere else after work and in the weekends. Originally from the land of the orang utans, spent the latter half of her life in the land down under. Always on the look out for deals, loves organising get-togethers, and occasionally steals some time for a sip of wine or four at ladies nights.
