#19 Chinese New Year in Dubai

My hands are shaky from 2-hours of badminton. I hope I can do this post properly ๐Ÿ™‚

So, Gong Xi Fa Chai everyone! Nien chu yi today. Miss Kuching terribly ๐Ÿ™

One week ago I started googling “Chinese New Year in Dubai” and could hardly find much hits. It looks like there’s more now, with the not-so-many Chinese Restaurants in Dubai hosting special menus to celebrate the Year of the Horse. A lot of ridiculous prices, Dubai-style I guess, sigh – I miss my 3 ringgit kolomee. I’m gonna attempt to check out some in the next 15 days, without breaking the bank!

So here’s my wishful list, with blog posts coming after each visit (or when I get in the mood to write on it, hehe). You can check outย Timeoutdubai.comย and ArabianTravelNewsย for details of some.

  1. Zheng He at Mina A Salam
  2. Shanghai Chic at Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel
  3. Yuan at Atlantis
  4. Noodle Houseย
  5. Long Yin at Le Meridien Dubai

Xing Nien Kuai Le to all the chinese in Dubai ๐Ÿ™‚

Dubai resident. Stays most of the time in the marina as she can't be bothered going anywhere else after work and in the weekends. Originally from the land of the orang utans, spent the latter half of her life in the land down under. Always on the look out for deals, loves organising get-togethers, and occasionally steals some time for a sip of wine or four at ladies nights.
