I’m sleepy. DSS has kicked off and we’ve just been wandering through Dubai Mall. I didn’t buy a single thing. I’m so sad 🙁
Maybe some blogging will cheer me up he he.
M’s here – thought it’ll be nice to show her some of Dubai’s nightlife. And what’s a better place than Embassy, just a 10minute walk away.

Embassy was having a special lil event as they had a bartender competition (?) just the night before, so Monday’s event was held for a group of people to taste their special creations. It was also the opening ceremony of the then called Infinity Tower – now Cayan Tower. What was that about? Ran out of money and got saved by Cayan Group? Same fate as the Burj Khalifa? (Click here for a bit of history of the Infinity Tower – when the diaphragm wall collapsed resulting in flooding of the excavated basement – again, for you sexy engineering geeks)
Anyways we got prettied up in heels and arrived at the 43rd floor, to be escorted to the floor above by the charming Jean-Marc. It was fairly quiet when we got in, but that also meant – yay, we got our own table with our own drinks!

Embassy never fails to disappoint. They had their lil buffet of yummy canapes. Just in case you’ve never been to Embassy, they do this every Tuesday and Wednesday for their ladies nights.

There was a special menu upon which we could order cocktails from, compliments of Embassy. R loved it, didn’t you? 😛 A few too many? Hehe.
We had a great time – can’t even remember how many times we’ve been back there now. Literally is the ‘bar next door’. I really want to check out the other bars in there – Buddha Bar, Siddharta Lounge? Soon soon! 🙂
