Where and when exactly is the brunch held, at Vida Creek Beach?

Every Saturday – Vida Creek Beach does a casual poolside brunch at Float Lounge, situated right next to the lagoon. It starts from 1pm in the afternoon and runs until 4pm.

There are tables set up right there by the buffet spread, and sun umbrellas if you want some shade. Note that this area is completely open.

What sort of food is included in the Hidden Beach Brunch?

There’s a sushi counter, alongside a good selection of salads. The main event would be the BBQ section – where you’ll find grilled tiger prawns and whole fish, chicken wings, chicken kebabs and beef steak. There DIY tacos with pulled beef, and DIY mini burgers to the other corner.

For the little ones – there’s fish fingers, chicken nuggets, fries and grilled corn. Not to forget – a popcorn as well as a soft serve ice cream machine that they will LOVE (and make an absolute mess of themselves, with).

Do you get pool access?

Definitely. The kids will very likely spend more time in the water than above. You’ll be happy to know that the deepest end is at 1.3m depth. My two older girls – ages 7 and 9 were playing in the lagoon for most of the afternoon and it took me many, many, many attempts to get them out.

Is there a beach at Vida Creek Beach?

Why do you think it’s called ‘Vida Creek Beach’? Haha! In case you were not aware – the lagoon is man-made. It’s designed such that there is sand by the sunbeds, and then the lagoon gradually increases in depth like you would expect at the beach. This is quite nice for the toddlers as well, as they can easily play in the shallow end.

What about changing facilities?

There is an outdoor shower as well as a closed changing cubicle right next to the lagoon, and by Float Lounge. A few steps away, you’ll find their bathrooms. Note : These are toilets only.

Overall Thoughts

Hidden Beach Brunch is a lovely option to do – if you’re looking for a casual poolside brunch that is entirely outdoors. If you have kids who are strong swimmers and you want to catch up with friends over food and drinks, while they swim within sight – consider this brunch. Feel free to stay on until sunset or until the pool closes at 8pm as there’s no rush to leave even when the brunch is officially over. Head over soon this winter season!
