Tiger Strikes Dubai – Where Sports, Entertainment and Families Meet

With the kids getting bigger and out of the pram-phase – we’ve been looking for more places to go to where we could all play together as a family. Tiger Strikes is one of them. We went over to review the venue with the kids, together with my mum when she was here – one Sunday afternoon in April.

Here’s what to expect at Tiger Strikes – the new Entertainment hub for families.

Where is Tiger Strikes?

Tiger Strikes is located in Megaplex Dubai – by Grand Hyatt Dubai. As you enter, you’ll see Roli Poli to your right. Take the escalators straight ahead, and you’ll find yourself standing right in front of the venue, with Vox Cinemas to your left.

There is paid RTA street parking right in front.

Does Tiger Strikes serve food?

Definitely! They have a cafe and lounge area within the venue where you can order some food to eat before or after the games. There’s bar bites like dynamite prawns, chicken karaage, burgers from 55 AED to 75 AED, salads circa 50 AED and mains like Nasi Goreng, Beef Teriyaki, and Vegetable Chow Mein.

Is Tiger Strikes licensed?

No – they do not serve alcohol at Tiger Strikes.

What Sports & Activities does it have?

Bowling

There’s 6 bowling lanes available – and you can choose to pay per game, or per hour. We highly recommend paying it per hour as it’s much more worthwhile – 160 AED per hour Mon to Friday, and 180 AED per hour Saturday and Sundays – with a maximum of 6 players a lane.

The recommended age is 8, however – younger kids from ages 5 and above are allowed provided that they use the junior ramp (see image below). It’s basically a steel ramp where the little ones can use as support, and roll it down the ramp onto the bowling lane. It’s super cute watching the younger ones get involved and just makes it so much more better that the entire family can do this together.

Wikit

The highlight for us was definitely the WIKIT – an augmented reality cricket experience. There’s a screen up front where you see the bowler pitch, and the cricket ball gets thrown out through the machine for you to hit. The husband had a lot of fun in here ha ha – and I’m sure yours will do.

Similarly to bowling – the recommended age here is 8+, however younger kids ages 5+ are allowed as long as they are guided by an adult. They do have lighter bats for the younger kids as well. My kids (ages 5-9) were initially not keen but after giving it a try – they basically took over the pitch!

Prices start from 80AED per hour during off-peak timing for up to 6 players.

Darts & Pool

Tiger Strikes has 4 dart boards, and a Pool table. We had a go with the darts – my husband, my mum and I – and it also super fun as the computer prompt throws out these hilarious memes everytime you make a bad shot (which in my case, was 99% of the time).

Note that darts are strictly for adults ages 21+ so if you have little kids, they are welcome to sit around and watch daddy and mummy play!

Prices start from 75 AED per hour during off-peak timing for up to 6 players.

Does it do Events, Birthdays and Team Building?

Definitely. It’s the perfect spot for it, don’t you think? Tiger Strikes has packages for all.

Any current offers?

As of April 2025 – there are two main offers to highlight :

After School Club

This is a fab one for families. Take the kids over afterschool for some play time – where you pay just 45 AED per child for 30 minutes of bowling or cricket, which also includes a 45 AED kids’ meal. This is valid for kids ages 12 and under and is available only on Monday to Thursdays between 1pm to 6pm.

Parents also get 25% off the Ala Carte Menu. Win win!

Half Price Tuesdays

Every Tuesday – all games are 50% off.

This is a pretty awesome deal for everyone ie instead of paying 80AED for 1-hour of cricket between 2-6pm, you pay ONLY 40AED. Note that this is for up to 6 players as well. What a steal, right!

Similarly, for bowling – instead of 160 AED for a 1-hour game before 6pm, you pay only 80 AED, to be shared between 6 players. You gotta head over on Tuesdays!

Overall Thoughts

We all had a fun afternoon at Tiger Strikes – that’s us parents, our three kids ages 5, 7 and 9, and my 70+ year old mum. It’s all entirely indoors so you can go anytime of the year. If you’re looking for a fun day out to suit all ages – we highly recommend it. And if you’re looking for a bargain – pop over afterschool or on Tuesdays. Please do tag us on Instagram if you make it to Tiger Strikes!
