Cinco de Mayo is an annual celebration to commemorate Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire in 1862 – also known as the Battle of Puebla. Ever since, it has been much celebrated in the US and of course – in proper Dubai style, a handful of restaurants will be gearing up to put up a party – to honour the battle and to celebrate Mexican culture.
