Did you know that there is a new drinks venue in The Beach JBR Dubai, where you can get a whole selection of organic tea? Some of us may affectionately know it as bubble tea, but this is something a little different. The team at PIMS, have curated their very own selection of tea-based drinks – a healthier, more wholesome option.
Here’s what you can expect from PIMs Tea.
First things first.
Where exactly is PIMS Tea in JBR?
You will find PIMS at the ground level of the Roxy Cinema Building at The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence. Don’t walk into Roxy, it’s next to Roxy’s entrance, by Eggspectation.
How is the venue like?
They have a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the busy pedestrian walkways of The Beach, and Ain Dubai beyond. There’s lots of space for kids to sit around, and its absolutely beautiful at sunset.
If you prefer to sit indoors – they do have some seats as well. They also provide colouring and toys if you have the kids with you, which always helps!
You will find merchandise to the side of the store, where you can purchase bags of PIMS tea to brew at home at your own convenience.

What do PIMS serve?
As their marketing blurp describes, PIMS offers a ” new beverage experience, reinventing Oriental tea-based drinks made with 100% organic fruits and ingredients. “
They have also created their signature PIMS cream. You can go for either salty cream – which has a delicate creamy texture, and is made from milk. Alternatively, you can try their coconut-based cream for those who prefer a lactose-free option.
When it comes to flavours – there are lots of options. Start with a classic traditional chinese fermented tea – from matcha, jasmine to da huong pao, an energizing tea with bread and spicy hints of dried fruits. Unique, don’t you think?
You can also go for the Full Pims option which is bit thicker, like peach lychee, mangoow and strawganny. Your little ones will have funny trying to read the names! 🙂
And of course, there is the classic milky and tapioca option which is a unique take on bubble tea. PIMs’ tapioca, is made from cassava root plants, with a hint of sweet coffee flavour. As someone who buys bubble tea every single week, I personally approve of it 😉
