Peaches and Cream : A family-friendly Beach Club on the Palm

Introducing Peaches and Cream – a bright, retro-inspired beach club on the Palm which is very much family friendly. You might have seen pictures of it on social media – eye-popping primary colours that is bound to bring a smile to anyone who walks in. We went over one weekend early December to review the venue – all 3 kids in tow.

Here’s what to expect at Peaches and Cream.

Where is Peaches and Cream?

Peaches and Cream is located on Shorelines 1 and 2 on the Palm. There are a few beach clubs on that side of the Palm – Byron Bather’s Club and Riva further along. Some may call it unofficially as Palm East Beach, it being on the other side of the trunk – referencing the newer but more known beach on the west side.

Similar to Riva, you self-park in the building’s parking. Just let the security guy know you’re going to Peaches and he will let you in. Free parking in Azure or Shorelines, and 20 AED valet parking in front of Peaches & Cream.

How is the venue like? The crowd?

Blue, yellow, orange make up the main colour palette of the interior. It’s cute, it’s funky – I like it.

There are couch seating areas with low tables, the regular dining areas and high bar tables to cater for all sorts of groups. And that was what we saw when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of adults-only groups, a few families here and there. Mixed.

Outside, you’ll fine more seating areas and a cool bar area right to a giant hippo prop. My 4 year old tried to climb in and we can confirm that that no – you cannot get in. It’s literally just for photo ops only 😉

Let’s talk about the food.

The food itself, was the highlight of Peaches and Cream for us. We honestly thought the food will just be so-so, but we were definitely impressed with what they had to offer. The greek seabass ceviche with pickled red onion and sweet potato was a good one to start with. The spaghetti allo scoglio – generous seafood portions and pasta cooked al dente – very well priced at 105 AED.

The team recommended the paella so we went with it – and I think I scrapped off every grain of rice haha. Again, adequately priced at 120aed for big fat juicy prawns with spanish bomba rice. I loved my mediterranean grilled lamb chops – so much flavour in it with the creamy harrisa marinade. I see they also do rib-eye as well, priced at 145AED for a 250gram chargrilled ? I’m coming back for that !

They do have a kids menu, and we only ordered the mac and cheese from there for the 6 year old. 35AED for again, a generous portion of creamy mac and cheese. Sometimes this comes too dry, too creamy, too this or that. My girl sat there and ate most of it, and we took home the leftover (never waste any food!). I had it the next day and understood why she loved it. You gotta give a venue credit when they can get the simplest of meals right!

Are they licensed?

Yes, entirely. Indoors, outdoors, by the beach, by the pool.

I would say their alcoholic drinks are the slight upper end of the price spectrum, with classic cocktails around the 60 AED mark and signature cocktails 75AED and above. You gotta get their Mediterranean Spritz just one time though. And their specialty – the Peaches and Cream cocktail 😉

Desserts, too?

Look at this gorgeous ice lolly collection – all for 45 AED. Well-priced, right? The kids loved it! Get their chocolate fondant too – this is served with yet another cream – their home-made ruby vanilla bar.

Is there Pool and Beach Access at Peaches and Cream?

Of course – it’s a beach club.

You’ll find their layout almost identical to Riva. The pool, kids pool, beach area.

Currrently as of publishing this piece, December 2022, their Pool & Beach Day Pass rate is as follows :

  • Weekdays : 100 AED, Fully redeemable in F&B
  • Weekends : 150 AED, Fully redeemable in F&B

Overall Thoughts

A new favourite.

Peaches & Cream manages to bring a new family-friendly venue that is cute and trendy – and at the same time has enough space to keep the little kids entertained. The food is honestly superb – I would happily return for that seafood pasta. Maybe try their pizzas this time?

Suggestion? It would be an icing on the cake if they introduced a little playground set – just something extra 😉

Bring the family to Peaches & Cream – soon!

Dubai resident. Stays most of the time in the marina as she can't be bothered going anywhere else after work and in the weekends.
