Four Seasons Resort Dubai in Jumeirah Beach have relaunched their Saturday brunch in Suq, their family restaurant. We returned to the resort in September to review the brunch, now called the ‘Sensational Saturday Brunch.’ A bit cheesy I thought – it better be as ‘sensational’ as it is named to be, haha.
Here’s what to expect at the Saturday Brunch in Suq.
Where is Suq in the Four Seasons?
Suq is located on the beach level of the Four Seasons Resort Dubai.
After you hand over your car to the valet at the main hotel entrance, you take the lift down one level, or otherwise – enjoy the scenic route and take the grand spiral staircase down. The restaurant is right there.

What sort of food do we get in the Suq brunch?
Suq’s brunch is buffet-style, with live cooking stations as well for pasta, pizza, noodles and even foie gras. It’s one of those which puts a lot of emphasis on fine fare – picking premium quality meat and seafood, organic vegetables.
From the sashimi section – you’ll find Scottish salmon, Zuke Hamachi, Madai Red Snapper and Yellowfin Tuna. They also use freshly ground wasabi which we appreciate.

There’s a large cold seafood section – oysters, alaskan king crab leg and for those who are keen to try something different – turbot shells!
For kids – there’s a live pizza and fatayer section with truffle, pepperoni, margarita among others. Not to worry – you can definitely get chicken nuggets and french fries as well.
We loved that there was chinese cuisine in the mix – peking duck station, as well as home made dim sums.

For the meat lovers – whole slow-roasted seabass with lots of vegetables to add to the plate, rotisserie chicken, as well as beef wellington with yorkshire puddings.

And the crowd, and overall vibe?
Suq was full house when we went – late September. As the restaurant had different areas, we were booked into an area where it looked like most families with young children were. No complaints at all – this was perfect for us 😉
In the main dining area where the food was – were mostly big groups of adults. A few birthdays were on that afternoon as well – with the live band getting the crowd amped up with the festivities.
Everyone was dressed up, mostly 30+ to the older lot. It was a really nice crowd.

What about the kids, what sort of entertainment is there for them?
There is a kids corner in what I will call the ‘ family part ‘ of the restaurant. There is slime making, arts and crafts and face painting. I would say it’s good for the younger ones, 6 and below and of course if the older ones enjoy such activities they can pop in and out.
Once the weather is better and we can pick a spot outside, there will be ample space for kids to run around.

Overall thoughts
Do the Saturday brunch at Suq in the Four Seasons if you appreciate really fine food in a nice spot. It is the Four Seasons Resort.

When it comes to buffet-style brunches – I would put Suq on par with the heavyweights in the game – Brasserie 2.0 and possibly Bubbalicious in the Westin. And with that – it is similarly priced (see Insta post below). The good news though – it is currently in the Entertainer. Rare, and not sure for how long? 🙂 So go book the family in quick.
Definitely a good one for birthdays and celebrations. Get dressed up.
