5 Days of Pool & Beach in Dubai – Adults-Only

This post is written for a couple who will be here in Dubai very shortly. I was going to send it via email but hey – if it will be valuable to them – it will be good to share it with everyone else, ay?

So, if you don’t have kids, you are coming to Dubai and you’ve gotten a friend to get you a 5 day Privilee Guest Pass – these are my suggestions on how to maximise the use of it. Even if you didn’t get the guest pass, you could still use these tips – pay for their Ladies Day offer, or otherwise Pool & Beach Day Pass 🙂

Day 1 – Thursday

Waldorf Astoria

If your hotel doesn’t provide breakfast, get to Waldorf early as Privilee currently has a 50% discount on their breakfast buffet at Mezzerie. 155 AED for the both of you. They have an adults-only pool so you guys can hide away there for the day 😉 Note for others : You can also use the Entertainer buffet voucher for breakfast at Mezzerie.

They also have a 241 bottle of House White/Red voucher in the app from Palm Avenue – so that’s 250AED for two bottles which will keep the both of you quite happy for the entire day I think, haha.

Anantara Palm Jumeirah

Ultimate Summer Colour Trends Sale

If you have time – pop over to Anantara the Palm next door. They don’t have a designated adults-only area, however there lagoon pools are massive and so beautiful – you can easily find a spot that is quiet. You also get 40% off discount at The Beach House for lunch – this is their restaurant by the beach, also short walk from the main pool.

Day 2 – Sunday

W Dubai

On Sundays, W has a Ladies Day at their adults-only pool – Wet Deck. Yoga from 11-12pm, then free-flow drinks from 12-4pm for 150 AED for ladies, 250 AED for men. If you don’t want to drink so much then no need to pay for that as you both already have access to the pools with Privilee, just go there for the vibe 😉

For food, Torno Subito does italian and you’ve got Akira Back for japanese – both only open in the evenings on weekdays. They have an all-day dining Liv, otherwise you could go for sundowners at SoBe. We get 25% off F&B in W.

Kempinski Palm Jumeirah

If you have time to squeeze in another spot, Kempinski Palm Jumeirah is right next door – it’s one of my favourite resorts. I think you could just walk over.

It doesn’t have a specific adults-only pool but it is usually quiet, so a bit of a change from W. You get 15% off F&B with Privilee at Beluga, their pool and beachside restaurant. Food is quite expensive there and not my favourite spot to eat but hey, you’re on holiday right? Good time to splurge, hehehe! PS – You can order to eat by the pool/beach if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant itself.

Day 3 – Monday

Fairmont the Palm & Palm West Beach

Fairmont’s got an adults-only pool, so I would recommend you spend some time there.

If you plan to come here early, I would recommend you pop out to the boardwalk behind Fairmont and head to Jones the Grocer for coffee and breakfast. Then go back again for the pool and beach.

Have lunch at Seagrill – fabulous seafood and also in the Entertainer, otherwise 25% off with Privilee.

You have to stay till sunset here as the views of the marina from Palm West Beach is spectacular. Since it’s a weekday, head to Senor Pico for their Sundowners special for dinner – 50% off a selection of food and drinks between 5 to 7pm. Otherwise, there’s also Koko Bay, Aprons & Hammers, Lucky Fish and Orange Chameleon. Haven’t been, so can’t comment. Oh – you could also pop into the infamous Five Palm Jumeirah which is along that same stretch. Check out Penthouse – they have a ladies night on Tuesdays – 150 AED for 3 courses and 3 drinks 😉

Day 4 – Tuesday

Atlantis

Morning – Go for a wander in Atlantis, the lobby itself is quite impressive plus you get to see the aquarium (photo op!). Spend sometime at the Atlantis Royal Pool. You can then walk over to White Beach or ask them if for a buggy.

White Beach

Afternoon – White Beach has a ladies day (12-4pm) – 150 AED for free-flowing drinks. Never done it, but I would think that it will be quite lively then – will be a nice time to go just for the vibe. If you will be having more than 3 drinks, I would recommend you just pay for the package (you get 10% discount as a Privilee member) – because a glass of wine at White is around 50 AED anyways 😉

The Pointe

Dinner – Food at Atlantis is not cheap, so if you want to save a bit, grab a taxi and go to The Pointe for food. Watch the fountains. You could try Le Brioche, Brunch & Cake. They have McDonald’s as well! There’s lots of other good restaurants there, however we’ve yet to try them out.

You get a really nice view of Atlantis from the beach at The Pointe.

Day 5 – Wednesday

Rixos the Palm

I’m hoping that Rixos will be open to Privilee in April. You’ll feel at home here as most of the staff as well as the guests here are Russian-speaking. Recommend that the both of you do their all-inclusive daycation – it’s 250 AED for breakfast, lunch, and drinks all day until 6pm. They have tons of activities, stay here for the whole day 😉

Other options

Palazzo Versace

If you’re sick of the Palm, then head over to Palazzo Versace instead. Another beautiful property, plus they have an adults-only pool. No beach here but still worth the trip! Everything – and I mean everything – furniture, silverware, the flooring – has Versace all over it.

Westin Mina Seyahi

They also have an adults-only pool, however it’s more like a ‘part’ of the pool so you’ll definitely still see kids running around the grounds adjacent to the pool. They have a mini waterpark there now called Jungle Bay – Privilee members need to pay 75 AED to access it so if you guys are feeling like it, top up to try it out.

Head to Sand Bar – they’ve these big white cabanas there and lots of instagrammable spots.

Dine at Fish. Brussola for Italian. Sui Mui for South-east Asian.
