Iftar @ Nawwara, JW Marriott Marquis

Mum loved it.

Last Iftar before she flies home, and this was probably the highlight of the 4 iftars that she’s been to πŸ™‚ It’s actually quite small (for Dubai), but it’s intimate, it’s beautiful, and just enough. Impressed how they managed to fit so many people in Nawwara yet not make you feel like it was oversubscribed.

Many thanks to the very sweetΒ Edelyn who took care of us. Again, amazed how they kept service top notch even though the place was completely filled. Great food quality as well, you get fresh watermelon (/orange/pineapple) juice to the usual Ramadan juices, and, tea and coffee should you want something hot to go with the dessert selection.

We probably spent more time taking photos of the place than eating πŸ˜‰ Happy we took mum here πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Cheers again, JW Marriott Marquis.

Dubai resident. Stays most of the time in the marina as she can't be bothered going anywhere else after work and in the weekends. Originally from the land of the orang utans, spent the latter half of her life in the land down under. Always on the look out for deals, loves organising get-togethers, and occasionally steals some time for a sip of wine or four at ladies nights.
