Pierchic.
“The stroll out to sea along the bedecked pier immediately sets the scene for romance. Pierchic serves only the finest seafood dishes, washed down with a balmy breeze and the serene views of the Gulf’s azure waters. Stylish, serene and simply spectacular – this is, after all, considered to be one of Dubai’s most uniquely located culinary destinations.” (taken from the restaurant website)
The location, view and atmosphere – definitely at the top of our list.
Very romantic, very beautiful, truly magical 🙂
I’ve heard that the prices are usually quite high, and if you missed it during the Jumeirah Restaurant Week – 3 courses for AED180 (NZD60/ 30pounds!)…. awwww, you’ll have to break your wallet for this place 🙂
Our favourites –
- The ride from Al Qasr main entrance to Pierchic on a buggy. You cannot walk to this restaurant if you want your hair and make up to stay on. Or if you’re wearing that new pair of heels!
- The view of the Burj Al Arab from the pier leading to the restaurant. Wow
- The view of the restaurant from the beach when you’re on the bridge, leading towards it
- The blue lit water underneath the deck
And yes, the food was good, and worth every penny.
I highly recommend you to dine at Pierchic for those special occasions – anniversaries, birthdays… proposals? 🙂 Very romantic.
This is definitely fine dining at it’s best.

$60 for a three course meal is SOOO cheap !!
Hehe yeah! It was only for 2 weeks though – the specials for “Jumeirah Restaurant Week.” 🙁 Otherwise the prices for fine dining here is really expensive unless you have vouchers and stuff!
