Mileo the Palm have recently launched a family-friendly poolside brunch at AYA The Rooftop. Perfect time for a brunch with pool access, don’t you think? We sent Dubai-resident Michelle and her family to review the brunch when it launched mid-April.

Where is AYA Brit Pool Brunch?
Brit Pool Brunch is located at AYA The Rooftop – Mileo The Palm’s rooftop bar. This boutique hotel is situated off Palm West Beach.
This brunch spot really delivers on atmosphere. Perched above the city, the poolside setting overlooks the Palm Jumeirah, offering a beautiful view that instantly sets a relaxed, vacation-like mood.
What is the space like?
There are tables situated poolside which is in the open area, as well as within the bar which does have a roof over.
The space itself is on the smaller side, but that actually works in its favor. It feels intimate, thoughtfully designed, and full of personality thanks to the funky, eclectic decor. Every corner feels curated without being overdone.

What kind of food is served at AYA Brit Pool Brunch?
The food selection was impressively varied and well executed.
Highlights included a perfectly cooked Beef Wellington, along with a wide range of fresh salads, cheeses, breads, sushi counter and seafood options. There was something for everyone, and the quality was consistent across the board.
The dessert selection was also worth saving room for, with plenty of sweet options like macaroons, tiramisu, chocolate brownies and more, to end the meal on a high note.

Is the brunch family-friendly?
Families are well catered for too, with a dedicated kids’ section and even face painting to keep little ones entertained throughout. A big bonus is the free pool access, so you can fully enjoy the pool before or after brunch and make a whole day out of it.
What about the drinks?
Drinks were definitely a standout — strong, well-made cocktails including Negronis and margaritas, plus a steady flow of Prosecco kept the energy going. Even better, the pricing was surprisingly reasonable for Dubai, making it feel like great value for the overall experience.
What sorta vibe?
The vibe was elevated by a live DJ and live music, creating a fun and lively atmosphere without feeling overwhelming.

Overall Thoughts
Overall, it’s a well-balanced brunch experience with great food, fantastic drinks, and a vibrant yet relaxed setting — all at a price point that makes you want to come back again.
Editor’s Note : There is no shallow area within the rooftop pool itself and the music is fairly loud – so the brunch is possibly more suitable for older kids. If your little ones don’t mind all this then by all means, bring them all along 🙂
