Banyan Tree have launched two iftar options this Ramadan – one in Alizee, situated right by the poolside amidst greenery, or otherwise – a private 10-seater get-together on the beach.
Here’s all you need to know about Banyan Tree’s Iftar Venues this 2026.
Iftar Feast at Alizee
If you’re looking for an intimate iftar spot this Ramadan – consider Alizee in Banyan Tree Dubai.

Dim lighting, white tableclothes with traditional arabic runners – the outdoors is transformed into a welcoming, tranquil iftar venue. Each table is gently lit with a sleek brass table lamp, and fanoos lantern, symbolic of the menu itself – a combination of traditional iftar dishes and a few of Alizee’s signature plates.

The iftar begins with a traditional lentil soup, and a generous spread of hot and cold starters – all served to table.

Starters includes fattoush – a vibrant Levantine salad, and of course – arabic bread with hummus, moutabal, baba ghanoush as dips. You’ll also find stuffed grape leaves, falafel and kebbeh. Alongside, Alizee’s very own prawn & quinoa salad – with avocado, dried apricots and citrus dressing.

If unlike me – you’re not yet full from the starters – don’t worry, that’s not all. The main course unfolds as a feast designed to be shared, featuring a platter of mixed grills. There’s beef kofta, chicken shish tawook and lamb chops, alongside mixed grilled vegetables. Guests can also enjoy seabass with harra sauce, a slow-cooked vegetable tagine as well as a middle eastern spiced lamb shoulder.

Don’t forget to stop by the dessert buffet located indoors – with again, a combination of traditional and international desserts. There’s umm ali, qatayef filled with generous amounts of pistachios, luqaimat, and on the same buffet table – you’ll also find fruit panna cotta, french eclairs amongst many other sweet delights. It’s the best of both worlds.

Would it be suitable for families? We would say it would suit families who have kids who can stay at the table, and talk in soft tones. It will be perfect for date nights, or get-together with friends.
Alizee’s Iftar is priced at 295 AED per person, and 150 AED for kids 4-12.

Iftar by the Shore
Another option – for those prefer a semi-private get-together, would be Banyan Tree’s ‘Iftar by the Shore’. Banyan Tree Dubai’s signature oceanfront venue sets the evening with its sharing-style Iftar, and a live BBQ station on the beach.

The iftar begins with traditional dates and dried fruits, as well as freshly baked breads and lentil soup. A generous mezzeh follows, featuring hot and cold arabic favourites such as tabbouleh and moutabal. For mains, indulge in a mixed grill of shish tawook, beef kofta, lamb chops as well as a zaatar-roasted cauliflower steak. There will also be grilled seabass and oriental roasted chicken, accompanied by saffron rice and couscous. The evening concludes with a dessert platter – umm ali and arabic coffee tiramisu to assorted baklava and seasonal fresh fruit platters.
Its location right on the sand makes it a family-friendly option, as kids are free to run around on the beach – though please do keep an eye on them! It’s an ideal get-together for large families and friends. Note that the table comfortably seats 10.
Iftar by the Shore is priced at 320 AED per person (minimum 10 guests), and 150 AED for kids 4-12.
