House of Hype – Dubai Mall’s immersive mega-experience have launched The Winter Wonderverse – running from 13th December to 4th January 2026. It’s their festive edition – a remix of holiday classics across the park’s 25 immersive worlds. We sent two families over to check it out when it launched on Friday. This is a review, by Dubai-based resident Zara’s 14 year old daughter Ariana.

The Review
I went to House of Hype and after living in Dubai for 13 years ( I’m 14 ), and it’s one of the nicest and most well-curated experiences I’ve been to. I went when it was Christmas themed, which made it even better. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much effort was put into everything. The attention to detail was insane, the decorations, lighting, and overall vibe made it feel super festive and immersive. The interior design alone was 100% worth seeing.
What I liked most was how interactive everything was. You’re not just walking around looking at stuff, you actually get to participate in different rooms, games, and experiences, which makes it way more fun. My favourite part was definitely the photo and content rooms because the backdrops and lighting were so unique and different from most places. It’s also clearly designed for all ages, so whether you’re a kid, a teenager, or even an adult, there’s something you can enjoy.
Overall, House of Hype was super fun, creative, and engaging, and the Christmas theme made it even more special. I’d definitely recommend it if you like interactive experiences and cool, aesthetic spaces.
