This year, Ramadan will likely fall on the evening of March 23nd, subjected to the sighting of the crescent moon.
As always, there will be iftars organised by restaurants and hotels all over the city. It’s a really nice time to get together with family and friends, whether or not you are fasting.
Coincidentally, the first two weeks of Ramadan will happen during the term break for most schools in Dubai. This means that school kids don’t have to go to bed at 7:30pm (or whatever time you put them to bed, I’m not judging). Families can therefore bring kids along to iftars guilt-free 😉
To make it easier for all of us families – we have put together a little list iftars, which we feel are family-friendly. Where applicable, we have also highlighted the discounts and offers. Most of these will be in and around our end of town, the Dubai Marina.
