1. The Views from their Outdoor Terrace
Drunchalicious officially starts at 6pm every Friday at Fogueira.
Depending on the time of the year – make sure you head over for sunset, as it’s absolutely glorious from Fogueira’s lounge.
Watch as the glowing sun slowly dip behind Ain Dubai, illuminating the sky in a vivid orange hue. The sky turns red, then blue and purple, before dusk. Ah, I can watch a Dubai sunset every single day, and not be tired of it. It’s just beautiful. And it’s a perfect spot – from Fogueira’s lounge.
From the other side – where you will most likely be seated for the rest of the evening, you’ve got views of Dubai Marina & JLT’s skyscrapers. The twinkling lights from the many apartments, hotel rooms, and retail outlets. The little cars trying to get from one place to the other in the traffic. There’s just so much going on here in the Dubai Marina.
2. The Endless Churrasco (Meat)
If you enjoy meat (and a lot of it) – Fogueira’s the right place to go to.
Just imagine sitting there with your friends, and having someone bring you skewers of tasty meat, which have been slow-cooked over open coals by rotisserie.
You get all cuts of beef – Picanha, Ribeye, Striploin, Flank and Tenderloin amongst many others. There’s shrimps, chicken thighs and wings, and of course – lamb chops.
3. Unique, Brazilian Buffet Spread & More!
Don’t worry – they do have a buffet spread as well to accompany all that meat.
Set up indoors – you’ll find a large salad selection – Brazilian Chicken, Bossa Nova, Rio, Quinoa and more. There’s appetisers, like pao de queijo, cassave chips, fried polenta and sweet potato chips. If you’ve never had Brazilian food – start here 😉
Set up outdoors on the terrace, you’ll find a sushi selection, plus cold seafood – mussels, prawns and crabs. It’s a feast !
4. Live Music Duo
Every Friday you’ll find a Latin singer duo – one on guitar, and the other with percussions. They usually come out around 7:45pm and stay there till 11pm to keep the vibe going on all evening. Music is mixed, with a bit of Brazilian tunes, to their version of international favourites.
5. Free-flow Caipirinhas, wine and beers
Do you like caipirinhas? Guess what? You get to have free-flow of it at Fogueira every Friday. They do the classic one, and a passionfruit one – which is just a tad sweeter.
There’s house red and wine, and of course beers to keep you happy.
