There is a new French restaurant in town, and it’s called Le Rose Dubai. We braved the Sheikh Zayed Road traffic one Thursday evening to review the newly opened venue. It was Steak et Frites night – which you would know as ‘Steak and Fries’ – french-style, of course.
How was the venue? And what is the offer? Read on.
Address Fountain Views?
Yes, we do have another one right by Dubai Mall. Trust Googlemaps, and don’t miss a turn 😉 Le Rose is situated on the 12th floor on the Address Fountain Views.
How are the interiors?
We got there when it was just dark. As you walk in, you see tables with white tableclothes, little pots of flowers and grey sofas around. It’s dim, yet elegant. It’s romantic. It’s the sorta place you go for a date, or a very chic catch up with friends. Nothing loud, nothing boisterious.
And outside?
Walk out and the first thing you will notice is the Burj Khalifa towering beyond with its sparkly lights. They have also set up a cute floral arch for those who love their photos (me, you, everyone?).
You can sit outside if that is what you prefer, though it was quite cold and windy when we were there (early February evening). So bring a cardigan, otherwise the team have blankets if you get cold.

Did you stay Steak and Fries Night?
Every Thursday they have a Steak et Frites night where you get 250g of Black Angus Rib Eye and unlimited fries for 165 AED. Pretty good bargain right, considering the venue? You can go ala carte for drinks or if you feel like 5 (or more), top up 165 AED for free-flow wine for 2 hours.
Steak was a little more well than the medium-well that we requested, but tasty anyhow. We also tried their beetroot salad, which I recommend, and if you are feeling peckish – order their fried calamari to strat as well.

Overall Thoughts.
Le Rose is a beautiful, elegant and romantic french restaurant. The Steak et Frites deal is pretty decent if you want to try that out, otherwise go ala carte and see what else they have to offer.
Oh, save it for a date night if you can 🙂
