A night in Fairmont The Palm #2

I took M to Fairmont The Palm two weekends ago. We checked into the Fairmont Gold View Room on the 10th floor, and to our nice surprise found a pot full of bloomin’ red roses and a personalised note to me. Opened it up and in it was a hand scrawled note

‘Dear Ms. X, Welcome Back !!! Have a nice stay ! We are glad to have you back .. – Michelle :)’

It’s amazing isn’t it when hotels remember. It’s little things like these that sets an exceptional hotel, apart from a nice hotel 🙂

At the table adjacent to the sliding doors were also a bowl full of fruits (including mangosteen!), and delicious macaroons.

M was ‘jumping with joy’ 😀

All in all, another pleasant stay. Thanks Bridget, for making M the special warm cocktail in the Fairmont Gold Lounge. She loved it! To Henry again, for making me the carrot juice even when the breakfast hour had finished at 11am. And to Ram for organising the roses to be beautifully wrapped up. It lasted a whole week + in our apartment.

And to end the post, here’re a few random shots taken from the lounge. Looking forward to heading back there again when the beach has been extended. Hopefully we’ll get to do our pre-wedding photos there as originally planned!
