GM being another avid comper and regular winner, won this after I sent a message to him and a few others. It was his first time joining Studio One competitions! Talk about having a winner’s luck! 😉 Anyways, out of his graciousness (salute), he gifted the Elemis “Purify & Shine Fix” facial to JS and myself. Thanks man.
I didn’t have any expectations before I went. Again, it was meant to be free so how good can it really be.
Loreta was our beauty technician for the night. Start of with an Elemis Facial Assessment Report where you place your head into a little machine. No you’re not sticking your entire head into a hole, dumbas. It’s exposed, kinda like when you go for an eye test. It takes a “photo” of your face which apparently reviews 6 things – Spots, Wrinkles, Texture, Pores, UV Spots and Porphyrins (i.e bacteria). Loreta then goes through each results with you slowly and in detail.
I’m not going to tell you how my test went 😛 All I can say is – all the many weekends spent bodyboarding in Muriwai Beach and snorkelling in the sea does not do nice things to your face. Sunscreen, people, sunscreen!
Next, you head to the “beauty treatment room”. Nice little clean room, nothing fancy. And so the facial begins.

This is my first beauty facial in Dubai.
